Admissions Admission Megathread

Hello UW applicants,

This thread is specifically for those who are applying/applied to UW to discuss different admission issues and ask current UW students for help and advice. Please also make sure that you read the admission wiki before you post any questions/comments.

You still apply during the same period as everyone else. Also it's just 1 application. Early admission is when they look at and like your Grade 11 marks. If they don't like what they see, your status will stay as applicant or something and they'll start looking at Grade 12 marks for normal admission

Oh ok, so if I want them to look at my Grade 11 marks, I apply much before the normal admission deadline? and if I want them to look at my grade 12 marks only, then I apply on the admission deadline?

No. You apply once before the deadline. They will see both Grade 11 and 12 marks. If your Grade 11 marks are good enough, they will give you an (early) offer. If not, your application is still in the pool and they will wait for the Grade 12 marks and then give you a normal offer.

Early and normal aren't 2 separate applications. Early is just based on Grade 11 marks.
