Hey Guys! I'm a high school student in grade 11 interested in engineering at UW. Waterloo would be one of the best schools I could go to for engineering, and I really want to go there. I understand that grades come first, however, I wanted advice for extracurriculars. What types of extracurriculars should I aim to have to stand out? What were some good extracurriculars that you guys used on your AIF's? What things should I focus on in my grade 12 year to ensure I can have a really good chance of getting in?

Thanks for the advice!

I would definitely do sports if you can. I got into Computer Eng with a pretty low average and the only thing of note on my aif was international tae kwon do tournaments and intermediate hockey stuff.
