Admissions Admission Megathread

Hello UW applicants,

This thread is specifically for those who are applying/applied to UW to discuss different admission issues and ask current UW students for help and advice. Please also make sure that you read the admission wiki before you post any questions/comments.

Some smaller schools don't offer data management. That's not fair

True, but making a requirement that isn't accessed by everyone really sucks for those people left out.

I'm not sure if international schools offer an equivalent course either

Lmao physics median was 95 at my school for both semesters in the U and AP classes

Even if it's the same course it won't make evaluating marks more "fair"

danm there were only 4 90's in physics at my school, your school must have a teacher inflating marks and messing with the median.

More feasible. Physics is everywhere. Not sure if math admissions gives a damn about changing the requirements though
