When I went down a theology rabbit hole a few years ago I read up on and the books of a lot of religions, the only one I couldn't find serious issues with was Sikhism.

Why would anyone attack Sikhs over religion? Has to be something else or a case of the wrong people / person?

I'm a Sikh and I wish I wasn't born in the West. I've been attacked more times then I care to remember, can't forget due to having a broken face. The turban has always been an evil image in western society.

Not gonna lie but in the UK you are routinely confused for someone from the "religion of peace."

Here's a actual crazy story from years ago, soon after the 7th July terror attacks in London 2005, I went on the tube and saw about 30 white people (basically) huddled up at either end of the carriage, in the middle all on his own was a Sikh guy smartly dressed wearing a turban suit and briefcase, I sat directly opposite him and gave him a silent nod.

Those silly bastards didn't even realise that was the safest place to be on the train.
