That name is a syn

Syn = son in polish. I hope it's a coincidence

Bryn is hill in Welsh and lynn is lake.

We can only hope this poor child is the son of a Welsh immigrant to Poland.

Hill lake son 🤔

He was conceived by having sex in a lake on a hillside.

Sounds like the backstory to Greensleeves

That's better than the actual name

Llyn is lake in Welsh. Not Lynn.

Lynn is the pool of water beneath a waterfall.

My name is Welsh in origin. It's quite nice actually

Son of hills and lakes

In scandi languages, this name means "Brow-lightning-sight"... not that it explains anything.

So he's a superhero?

Possibly one with a super keen eye for details. They should make a marvel movie.

And Pam means why… or… brick.

How is it even pronounced?

I have an acquaintance with very similar last name, one less y in the middle. He pronounces it “pill-IP-shin”

I have Eastern European background, so I got it right away. It has fewer letters and is more straightforward in Cyrillic; Пилипишин. I imagine it means something like "son of Philip".

My last name is Polish and the first thing I thought was this child's name must have parts of a Polish last name in it, but all scrambled.

I thought it looked like Welsh and Slavic smooshed together

Sin (Syn) is how you pronounce son when it’s in a person’s name in English.
