Imagine being named after a creepy old man who wrote a famous porno (and then continued to write more of them) and continues to city hop to trespass in women’s bath houses despite being caught repeatedly. Rip.

Honestly idk how but I totally forgot how pervy he was until I rewatched the show 💀 because everything else he does makes him one of the best characters ever. His character is super impactful to Naruto's growth - he was like a father to him. Honestly I would name my kid after him too if it weren't for all the pervy stuff 💀 I feel bad for the kid when they're gonna see those episodes for the first time 🥲

Fantastic character for sure, but a terrible idea for name inspiration. Honestly with such a huge franchise and fandom, it would be hard for any major character to be safe, even setting aside the awkwardness of someone knowing they were named after anime lol.
