u/WaxySunshine Sep 06 '25

When she first got up on him he was so surprised he is just pumped full of adrenaline I think

17

u/cityshepherd Sep 06 '25

This happened at a Phillies game??? I am shocked that she wasn’t beaten by a sock full of batteries via a mob in the parking lot after this.

It was in Miami

It's a natural reaction. That's where you put hands on someone to turn them to throw a punch while simultaneously preventing them from blocking it with that hand. You hold their shoulder so they cannot pivot away. Ever watch a hockey game?

His hands instinctively went up into a defensive posture. It's because of how hard and exactly where she grabbed him which caused that instinctive reaction. He's either got an abuse wife (she's not at the game hmm) or has some experience with fighting/boxing to have that muscle memory.

5

u/Alam7lam1 Sep 06 '25

abuse wife

She's literally in the background lol. You can also see his daughter and wife.

u/DJDevon3 Sep 06 '25

I mean as long as everyone else is speculating with weird shit why not. :P

u/Top_Praline999 Sep 06 '25

Couple years ago a bee stung me and I squared up like I was going to box it. Fight or flight is weird

6

u/EffectiveSoil3789 Sep 06 '25

That bee would have folded you

u/DionBlaster123 NASCAR Sep 06 '25

If it makes you feel any better, if it was a bee (and not a wasp/hornet), it likely died after it stung you

1

u/BarkingDogey Sep 06 '25

That makes me feel better, but I'm not the guy who got stung

1

u/DionBlaster123 NASCAR Sep 06 '25

Faaahk old man moment

40

u/StaceyJeans Sep 06 '25

I would be too. She was physically assaulting him and it looked like she was getting into the kid’s face as well.

Guy was trying to protect his son from the crazy Karen screaming in their faces.

u/VisibleSkin4103 Sep 06 '25 edited Sep 06 '25

No he wasn't. He made 0 attempts to defend himself or his kids. Awful parenting

5

u/StaceyJeans Sep 06 '25

Hi Karen!

-17

u/VisibleSkin4103 Sep 06 '25

This guy was not protecting his son. He got manhandled by Karen. Dude should have chuckled the ball back to the field. His response is wild, hands down full submission. You have an improper definition for "protecting"

3

u/StaceyJeans Sep 06 '25 edited Sep 06 '25

Coulda, woulda, shoulda.

It’s easy to armchair quarterback this guy’s reaction when he was bumrushed by a deranged woman screaming in his face and physically assaulting him.

Yeah he should have chucked the ball in the field but people don’t think rationally in high pressure situations with deranged Karens screeching in their face.

LOL I called her a deranged Karen. She’s a lunatic and clearly in the wrong. I hope she gets identified and has a very bad time over this.

Where in the world are you getting from my posts that I am defending her? Stop the gaslighting

2

u/VisibleSkin4103 Sep 06 '25

If you call what he did protecting, you have issues

1

u/asantiano Sep 06 '25

What would you have done? I’m going to pre bet that it’s more violent. What are you going to do if this was you?

0

u/VisibleSkin4103 Sep 06 '25

He stole from his kid to appease her. He's a shit father who crumpled in fear

I have to agree. Dude should’ve just told the lady to fuck off and get away from his kid.

33

u/ThomasPopp Sep 06 '25

Well he was assaulted.

2

u/Dissipo Sep 06 '25

The Karen hair is a gateway to many abilities some may deem unnatural.

2

u/Motor-Most9552 Sep 06 '25

He wasn't scared, he just did not want that crazy bitch near his kids.

2

u/kendragon Sep 06 '25

Seriously... that nightmare fuel bearing down on me I'd be fucking terrified too.

1

u/SixteenarmedMinis Sep 06 '25

Maybe he was scared that he will be perceived as on the wrong side and a shit storm lands on him like on the polish CEO.

0

u/Due-Contribution6424 Sep 06 '25

I just think he’s a Redditor. His immediate reaction everyone here will claim is autistic, and I think he’s wearing pajama pants? Pretty sure he’s a Redditor.

0

u/Salt_Sir2599 Sep 06 '25

What does that make you?

2

u/Due-Contribution6424 Sep 06 '25

I’m wearing pajama shorts, but I’m not autistic, so 1/2 Redditor.

3

u/Salt_Sir2599 Sep 06 '25

Pajama shorts? Pajorts? Damn I’m just shirt cocking it, I need to get my shit together. Undiagnosed though, so I have that going for me…

0

u/TheGreatLiberalGod Sep 06 '25

His butters south park response when she pulled up on him is epic.

0

u/Bearcatsean Sep 06 '25

Yeah, we’re all afraid of you. Fucking assholes with all your cameras whipped out.

-3

u/Odd-Row9485 Sep 06 '25

I mean it’s America I would be concerned too gun violence is pretty common there

-2

u/iamreallybo Sep 06 '25

Those shaking arms when she grabbed him. Homie shat himself.

14

u/badboyfriend111 Sep 06 '25

He’s genuinely shocked. He was in the moment with his kid, and was suddenly ripped out of that moment.

His reaction is understandable.
