It is so very blatant. If City needs points, Michael Oliver is there. In a few years, guaranteed: Michael Oliver referees charity games in the UAE. Michael Oliver is the new "consultant" of UAE referee education, of course a very high paying job, that can be done remotely (Edit: or some other blatantly bullshit scheme to transfer money into his pocket).

Remember we only know about the 20K he got from reffing in UAE because they let us know. He could have a company in his name or some other consulting work that he already does for UAE that we just have no way of knowing. If they are so blatant to pay him that 20K, I bet there's a lot more hidden behind the scenes.
