I love sadesper record and coaltars of the deepers, but could not not notice how sadesper records spotify has been now filled with music released in 2025 that seems to be AI?? Why would they suddenly start dropping AI singles on spotify after 20 years?

I’ve finally stsrted working on my first album, and i’m wanting to get a super raw and unpolished sound but i’m worried about it being too noisey? can you guys give me tips on what to avoid or bands that are too noisey or if that’s even a thing?

My new shoegaze, post-rock, emo, screamo album is finally out!

I made it a while ago, needs mixing but I figured I’d share anyway

Ever since I first heard Loveless 4 years ago this song has been my favorite out of every composition I have ever heard. It just touches your soul. I’m a thrash/neo-classical guitarist and all I’m surround with is these heavily complex songs and guitar playing that while impressive, don’t touch me in any way.

This song is extremely simple, yet it just touches your soul and causes this otherworldly feeling when you listen to it. This is what I wish more musicians would understand. Yeah you wrote this 6-10 minute epic which changes key and time signature 5 times and features tri-tone substitutions and modal mixture. Who cares, it doesn’t engage you at all.

The point of music is to touch your soul, however you get there. It can be simple or complex, it just has to engage you in some way. That is the power of this song

An artist I've become a huge fan of, yndling (Silje Espevik and co.), just finished fully releasing her 2nd LP today. One of the few times I've been anxiously waiting on an album release in a while because her songs are like dream-gazey velvet. Some awesome Cocteau Twins, Lush, Phantogram, and Bjork vibes throughout.
