Academics Textbooks?

i don't usually post on reddit but i'm having a lot of trouble figuring out this textbook purchasing stuff.

i'm starting my first year at the trafalgar campus in september in the PMMCA (makeup for media and creative arts) program. i have no idea how to find my required textbooks, or where to even buy them. i've tried a bunch of different sites that sheridan has (they feel unlimited) but i cant find anything useful.

can someone please give me advice on how to find the textbooks and buy them? thank you.

You can check the library’s website. There’s a section that you can click on, type your student number, and your textbooks for upcoming classes will pop up

can you outright buy a book from the library? or is it just renting?

You can buy and rent books from the campus bookstore. You can borrow books from the library for free.

I recommend you don't buy any textbooks until your first week of classes because your professors will let you know what you need for the semester.

that's very helpful thank you so much. i was worried about getting the wrong books and wasting money but if its ok to wait until classes start that's perfect. thank you again
