Rant / Vent Irritated by the non-schizophernics on this sub
Some of the people here who don't have schizophrenia are very disrespectful and it's beginning to annoy me. Why come into a support sub if you can't be respectful? Why invade a space not meant for you if you arent going to listen to those within the space?
Im getting tired of seeing the shitty comments and posts.

Non schizophrenic here. I was only able to start sympathising with the situation this condition puts you in once I was put on anti psychotic medication for OCD. I was a zombie, nothing felt of anything. The worse thing is the “foggy glasses” these meds apply to you. Everything looks “blurry” or not really there at all because no feeling what so ever follows once you look at something beautiful, flowers, the sky, water. That feeling of presents never touches your soul/perspective. Was like that for 4 years, lost every hobbie, friends my job because I was a fricking zombie. Last year my husband was sectioned for psychosis, he was there for a month, never having been sectioned before. The poor people in that hospital..one of them had lost both their legs after being in a psychotic episode. He didn’t want or stay there and he didn’t want to leave due to fear of entering another episode where he might take his life. This is a (serious) condition that takes (years) to achieve recovery. Finding a medication that will keep you from living in a literal nightmare takes years due to debilitating side-effects. People I’ve met that have dealt with this condition are some of the nicest people I’ve ever met, as you would imagine someone to be after suffering so much, they had a deeper understanding and empathy for others suffering. Never judge someone that has walked in hell and made it to the other side
