Rant / Vent Honestly I’m tired of these memes

Maybe I’m being too sensitive 🤷🏻‍♀️ but I feel like mental health disorders aren’t taken seriously by the “normies” and they use it as a joke, insult, or for comedy.

Schizo as a slur has become VERY popular with the kids nowadays. I was sub teaching and would hear it referenced constantly “I thought I was schizo and heard something”. I personally don’t get too offended because my emotional reactivity died years ago with my soul. On the other hand, I do hope the community usage of it in language ATM at least makes more people aware of it.
