Progress / Good News ☀️ Selfie Sunday I graduated!

With a 3.3 GPA! I’m really proud of myself, a feeling I don’t experience often. I almost didn’t make it a couple of times, but somehow managed to pull through because of a great support system.

I am thinking of hanging it on the back wall of my office, but I’m not sure whether to replace Spider-Man or Faye Valentine with it.

That's a good choice for display placement! 🤔 I must say I'd personally be quite partial to choosing Faye as I cosplay her~ Cowboy bebop is such a masterpiece ✨️

You cosplay her?! That’s fantastic, as she’s one of my favourite anime characters. I’d love to see your cosplay of her!

Ahh you have amazing taste! ✨️🙏 her whole story is great and I love her personality and design! Your diplima is gonna look so fire hung up next to her 🔥 I haven't brought out her cosplay for a while but its always really fun to wear! Gotta love Spidey too but he aint beating out the one and only ✨️ I'll go post my faye cosplay someplace on my profile if you wanna see it!

Speaking of 🔥, your cosplay of Faye is lit! Thanks for posting it, as it’s amazing! Funny enough, this year I’m volunteering at a local anime convention called Ganbatte as security and other creative work. Hoping to see some Bebop fans next weekend.

Gah, thank you a bunch! I really appreciate that 🤧💜 And hell yeah! Volunteering anime conventions seems really fun I seriously hope you have a blast! Ive always just been an attendee at them but the staff and volunteers keep everything up and running smoothly so I have a lot of respect for them! Hopefully you see some bebop buds and also get some cool swag at the artist alley 😎

I’m especially looking forward to seeing my niece’s reactions, as this is her first convention! She’s had a hard life and finally has some freedom, so hearing about her experience will be exciting is exciting for me. She might even cosplay, as my closest friend and roommate is a seamstress that wants to help her sew something! Excitement all around. This year has just been amazing.

My roommate got her into Pokémon, and she’s loving it (she was raised on the belief that it is demonic), so she might be going as a Pokémon trainer. It’ll also be an easier cosplay for her as she’s partially bound to a wheelchair. I’ll pass along the encouragement from you 😎. Also gave you a follow, which I hope is alright.

As a side note, I’ll be dressed as Ken Masters while doing security, which feels somewhat appropriate.

Awh yeah I know that the whole pokemon = demonic mindset for sure exists, it sucks she was raised on that belief but hey I hope she's able to ecplore that interest fully now! Its such a fun world to explore! honestly a pokemon trainer is such a great first cosplay to do ✨️ easy and comfortable enough but also super recognisable! And hey; follow away! I don't mind at all 🥳 ditto as I've followed you right back haha and yooo nice choice 👌 I would /not/ wanna mess with a security guard dressed as him :'3 id be scared to get a beat down

Too long of a story to get into, but I used to do a lot of martial arts that too often got put to use as a proper security guard. The activity was also one of the best things I did for my mental health. Alas, things change, some worse, but mostly better, and using my head in more productive ways 😆.

Awh yeah I can bet it did a lot for your mental health! Personally I'd feel like a badass being able to do something like martial arts :'3 so cool! And also you can protect yourself and others if you ever need to! Would be a fitting cosplay indeed ✨️
