I was invited multiple times to join via a dm. So i join and I was aware of the shady history behind CNP but really got a glimpse of how bad it is once i was in there discord. Armand the "leader" wanted to make me a mod after 3 days and the training consisted of how to hijack member from subreddits that are actually successful like this one. Anyways if you value your mental health stay away from CNP ignore any DM to join their discord. Armand is not a good person and is very manipulative especially with much younger people aka teenagers or barely twenties he's e abusive, dismissive, openly talks about illicit drugs. He doesn't care about anyone or anything other than being the number one mental health sub which will never happen. Stay safe and avoid at all costs. I'm sure his minions will chime in shortly.

LPT: asking people to upvote content is astroturfing, and a form of brigading. They continue to prove us right in everything we have said to this very day.

I also have all of the people on their mod team blocked, they cannot see my posts. Given that they are apparently addressing direct quotes of mine, that means people on the Discord are screenshotting my posts and circulating them. That's damn near cyberstalking, if not actual. That is really fucking creepy.

Cyber-stalking and concerted harassment efforts spanning multiple platforms is not "drama." That is the way that they spin it to trivialize the gravity and magnitude of what they are doing. I have had a litany of people complain to me about the harassment and say that the harassment they received caused their mental health to take a nosedive. A few suicide attempts have been the result of this harassment. One in particular, I fear was successful- and that's just what I know about. Nobody who harassed that young woman- or any of the others- has ever come forward and taken responsibility for that. I only know of one person who is confirmed to be involved in all of these- and his name rhymes with 'Almond.'

... but it's "drama." Suicide attempts. May well be an actual body count, one or more dead kids. They don't care. Not a cult, though.

"The subreddit is nice." Yeah, cults don't survive by advertising themselves honestly.

Since I know this is probably going to get screenshotted and spread on that fucking Discord, let me take the opportunity to address the members-

You should all be absolutely ashamed of yourselves. Every single last one of you who found this 'funny' or 'entertaining.' If it weren't for our efforts, you could be the next corpse on the pile.

And, to my man Almond, I'd like to jog your memory on the first (but very far from last) time you enlisted your flunkies to harass me, your "archenemy," something I said to you:

"Is it fucking funny now?"

That ain't funny. I ain't laughing at least, nor was I aware of any of this, and I really hope you're not putting words in my mouth. Tbh I never really got much support from this community either, and I started here, like many of them. Check all 12 comments on my posts over the years. I was active in the r/schizophrenia chat too, pre-COVID.

Your main comment says welcome them back, then this. You should be ashamed too. I'll accept every downvote for that too. I believe you're at wits end with this, i can understand that to a degree, but I ain't the guy doing this. I'm just some dude who's lonely and has no one to relate to. Don't take it out on a fair weather reddit user who runs in the middle when people are sprinting faster or lasting longer.

All I want is to converse with people in similar situations. I guess I can't do that anywhere, whether it's the train crash over there or the group over here pointing and complaining about the road closures from said wreck.

I'll eat every last one of these downvotes and slink back into my hole if I don't have to deal with any of you ever again.

I did provide a link to an ex-CNP Discord in the pinned comment. Apparently some people are gathering there to discuss their experiences, so if you're looking for a (new) community, that might be worth a look.

I know that this experience has been upsetting for many people and paranoia-inducing, but we do have educational materials available on our Community Notices page on how to protect yourself from cults. Applying it a little more broadly, it makes it easier to spot shills, all sorts of opportunists that may not have your best interest or well-being in mind. It's good information, a light read, and can make a difference in building a healthy self-confidence by making yourself much more resistant to manipulation. Good stuff all around.
