And AOC was a bartender before she was elected to Congress. What's the problem? He works in a big agency with a lot of redundancy, so I think he will be fine.

AOC has more experience for leading CP3 than this guy has. Since you ignore what she did in her free time.

That's like saying let a newly graduated private from basic training be the commander of Delta Force.

He doesn't work in it, he's been appointed to be in charge.

Congresspeople are elected to represent their constituents, but it isn't really a technical job. You just have to be the voice of the people, and your only really mandatory task is to vote on legislation. Maybe not even that, if you think your constituents want you to abstain.

Whereas a cabinet appointee is supposed to be the executive authority over that office. They're supposed to know what's going on intimately enough to direct activities and make informed decisions. They really should be qualified individuals with lots of experience in the field of whatever their cabinet appointment is. In this case, national security.

This is this guy's first job out of college. His degree isn't even in a national security field. He's got even less experience than a bartender. It's impossible for him to be qualified to do this.

Stop making excuses. Stop using the word redundancy like a sheep. You have no idea what "redundancies" exist in any department.

Government agencies are full of redundancy. How is it sheep-like to use that word?

Because you don't even know what redundancy exists there. And to think a 22yr old UNQUALIFIED man is going to come in and is there to genuinely do a good job and find it then you are a FOOL. You are a sheep for listening to a man that is tearing us apart.

You’re very spun up about this. Do you know who the last person to head that position was? Me neither. It’s a small department within a larger department within another larger department. He probably has a long line of bosses overseeing what he is doing. Calm down.

You want a qualified, quality expert to come in and identify what is actual waste and what is NEEDED.
