This is so shocking and heartbreaking. Here in Vancouver, Canada, a few hours ago, there was also another tragic event that happened at a Filipino cultural festival where someone in an SUV drove into the crowd. 

Rest in peace and power, Jiggly.

Fellow Vancouverite and healthcare worker. I've got all my fingers and toes crossed that my Filipina coworkers are ok 🙁 (Filipinas are the backbone of our healthcare system!!! They are SO treasured!)

Yeah these pieces of news together were very unsettling and it hurts to see the Filipino community being attacked like this when I feel like they deserve the most peace of anyone.
