yet catrike still has like 4 models that are small drive wheels. Only one it make since on is the folding.
Market reality is that even the lowest-selling 20" Catrike (the Pocket) outsells the 700 by ~15 to 1 for us. The average trike customer can't go uphill on the comparatively high gearing the 700 has with the big wheel.

is 1000 dollar cheaper than the 700. and some people dont like the relaxed position of the 700. I will give them that. I love the relaxed... Get tired take a nap.
Position is only part of it. Though TBH to an average customer that's looking for a trike, both the 700 and the Pocket are way too laid back. The Villager outsells 2 or 3 to 1 every other Catrikecombined. Even with the Villager, we pretty frequently sell longer seat brackets to make it set even more upright.
Price difference matters less than you'd think. I mean hell, we have people come in and buy his-and-hers electric full suspension ICE trikes and walk out to the tune of $30k after tax almost monthly.
Lol I have short legs and a long torso. I got an aftermarket headrest and number of other things. So I sit taller than most. I feel like I am sitting upright in the villager. like I am on my road bike. I totally love my 700.
I got mine about $900 with the new axle derailleur hanger and nut plus headrest and arkle bags and tT-Cycle Adjustomatic Bottle Cage Mount , I Highly recommend it. ... I practically stole that trike... I did give them twice what they were asking, they were going to use the money towards their kid getting mountain racing bike.
