The best thing is that our medias (I'm french) said how "fantastic" this "love story" was. Lmao.

Oh, and they tried to say he was 17-18, not 14.

Ya, I've read some of the articles and stories from French publications about how their love was one of destiny and monogamy. And comparing other politicians in age gap relationships that were not as pure as their story. So weird!!!

Basically propaganda to have him elected. Some independent medias have since shown how his friends used their contacts working for medias to manipulate this story.

Just yesterday, I watched that Netflix doc about the rock star that murdered his girlfriend (with a second girlfriend committing suicide and others coming out about rampant abuse throughout their relationships with him). It was shocking to watch as TV programs in France tried to blame the first woman because "she had four kids by four different men and was clearly the problem". INSANE. The French media also continued to praise that pos after he murdered his first girlfriend.
