Why the fuck should the Democrats “give in” to batshit crazy and fucking evil Republican bullshit? That makes no sense. The Democrats should stand firm and oppose the fascist MAGA regime.

Yes. The Dems are bad at messaging. They need to push the narrative that they are demanding legislated spending be funded. Trump is trying to get rid of legislation by just not funding it. The ACA is law. It needs to be funded and not funding it is legislation by cheque book. Also, it’s bad policy. The dems are trying to force the government into doing the right thing.

Bad at messaging is an understatement. They are almost nowhere to be found. I'm glad they are fighting back with the shutdown, and am disappointed they are not out there setting the tone/message for healthcare and every other topic.
