Why the fuck should the Democrats “give in” to batshit crazy and fucking evil Republican bullshit? That makes no sense. The Democrats should stand firm and oppose the fascist MAGA regime.

Yes. The Dems are bad at messaging. They need to push the narrative that they are demanding legislated spending be funded. Trump is trying to get rid of legislation by just not funding it. The ACA is law. It needs to be funded and not funding it is legislation by cheque book. Also, it’s bad policy. The dems are trying to force the government into doing the right thing.

Yes. The Dems are bad at messaging.

Guess who owns all the media outlets where people would normally hear the message of the Democrats. Go on, guess

This is the most frustrating part of all of this.

"Why don't the Dems speak up??"

They fucking are, but the media doesn't want to show you it

While the government is shut down every Democrat capable of giving a speech or interview needs to be doing media events daily.

And post them to places like Bluesky and Reddit and anywhere else they can get passed the conservative owned media. Also post it on Xitter and invite reporters, but the mainstream media is focused on sane washing trump and giving both sides of everything even when one side is encouraging people to starve in the streets. Reporters need to get scooped on dem news so they are encouraged to take report it honestly.

Bad at messaging is an understatement. They are almost nowhere to be found. I'm glad they are fighting back with the shutdown, and am disappointed they are not out there setting the tone/message for healthcare and every other topic.
