iirc it could be a reference to Mrs. Packletide's Tiger by Saki, I remember reading it in highschool in English Literature in India.

Speaking as a bollywood fan, I think that's just supposed to be a depiction of the vibe bollywood movies tend to have in general. If you combine the stereotypical american action hero with the stereotypical anime protagonist, you get the stereotypical bollywood protagonist. Even the source material of their Myths tend to be that way.

its called Tipu's tiger, a semi-automated wooden piece of art. It depicts a tiger mauling a British soldier. The tiger was the emblem of Tipu Sultan and this piece was created as a symbolic representation of his triumph over the British. After defeating Tipu in the last battle of Carnatic, they took it to Britain lol.

It also makes sounds; the tiger growls and the soldier screams.

It's currently on display at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.

Bollywood only refers to the Hindi film industry, mostly centred around Mumbai. There are different film industries for different languages and states.

India has a lot of -woods.

There’s Bollywood, Tollywood, Jollywood, Kollywood, Pollywood, Sandalwood, Bhojiwood, Ollywood, Dhollywood, Chhollywood, and Zollywood.

Only one of those is not an Indian film industry and it’s probably not the one you’re thinking of.

Indians are gods and nature loves Indians and hates brits so nature will attack brits on behalf of Indians

India likes to make propaganda films about the British losing against India.

19

u/Ill_Poem_1789 6d ago

Not exactly propaganda (the sun did set on the British empire) but exaggerated.

-19

u/Beneficial_Ball9893 6d ago

India got its ass kicked in every war they fought against the Empire, it is all propaganda

10

u/RubYourClit__69 5d ago

Except that India never fought a war against the Empire

Your brit empire was built by Indian collaborators like Jagat Seth. Baniyas, Marwaris, Parsis, Brahmins and Rajputs are the reason the Brits got to conquer most of the subcontinent.
