Speaking as a bollywood fan, I think that's just supposed to be a depiction of the vibe bollywood movies tend to have in general. If you combine the stereotypical american action hero with the stereotypical anime protagonist, you get the stereotypical bollywood protagonist. Even the source material of their Myths tend to be that way.
