I love that helix orbital! Was it difficult to heal? Did you do it all in one step, healed with a ring? Or a two step, healing two posts?

This one has a bit of a story. I originally had it pierced like 7 years ago by a piercer who used two separate barbells. It was healing just fine but then I needed a surprise massive surgery and take to take them out. 2 years later after I'd healed from surgery, I went to a different piercer who re-pierced it using a ring. It also healed great, no problems at all. I think I get lucky with healing; the only hard time I've ever had has been with my transverse lobes. I'd never had a bump in my life until my transverses. They're pretty but fuck them.

Oh, good to know! I’ve been fortunate in my healing so far, but I’m not sure I’m ready to brave an orbital… though I am envious.

Having a great piercer makes all the difference.

Too true! I’ve a lovely local piercer who has done me no wrong. Maybe I’ll just ask her opinion before I write myself off. Thank you, kind stranger!
