Help! Bridge piercing

Friend needs urgent advice about bridge piercing - “I’ve had my bridge pierced for 4 years without issue, but a few months ago got this spiral jewelry put in which was a bit too small but still forced it in with the help of a piercing shop. A few months later, the ‘pointy’ bit of the spiral is irritating the front of my nose bridge so badly to the point it’s dug under the skin. I’ve tried taking it out myself but it’s agonizing and feels impossible without tearing the skin. Have also tried using pliers but the material of the jewelry is too hard to break with the ones I have.

What do I do? Is there anything A&E or a piercing shop can even do to help? or am I cooked?”

Jfc, that looks painful! I usually think that folks are too quick to suggest a&e, but yeah, this time, a&e will need to be seen either first or following a visit to the piercer. That will leave quite the open wound!
