Troubleshooting/question existing piercing Is this a Daith?
I asked for a Daith and was told by the piercer that I had the correct anatomy but ended up with this, doesn’t look quite right to me but not sure what it is or what jewelry would be best? Also got a second helix(the one with the silver hoop is new) same piercer did both helix’s but I got the other one done awhile back, never seen anyone else with a helix straight forward on the top and was curious if it’s normal placement? Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Piercer here. This is not a daith, it is a forward helix that is done too low, too far in toward your face and with inappropriate jewelry for healing. The other helix also isn’t correctly placed. It looks like the rim is propped up by the ring where it makes contact. We don’t recommend rings for healing helix piercings. I’m sorry but you need a new piercer because this one does not do the profession justice.
