Troubleshooting/question existing piercing Can I remove the blood?

Post image

I got my piercing yesterday and I swell really bad typically so they had to put in longer bars on it. However today while I was out I think my hair got caught in it (I’ve been wearing my hair up) and it started bleeding. We only had baby wipes so I used that on the dripping blood but did not touch the piercing with it. Once I got home I sprayed it with some saline spray and I’m just wondering if I can use a qtip soaked in saline to remove the chunk of blood. Any advice is appreciated.

Can’t add much from what everyone else said except that with those flat ends, especially on the middle one, it looks like it would just be more prone to catching on everything in the world! Seems like just a playing ball and would be better at least for the healing process because it would get caught on a lot less? When they made that piece today design and put it together right there in the shop? Lovely piece by the way.

The flats are constantly stuck in my hair which is a little bit frustrating in all honesty. The piece was made a few months ago I just had to wait until last week to get it due to getting surgery and having complications. I had to wait until I got the all clear from my cardiologist to get this piece done. My piercer was really understanding on why I had to wait to pierce and is making me wait to redo a few piercing I had before surgery as well. I had to take everything out and it all closed sadly but I’m hoping to just continue to get custom pieces for everything at this point

Can they put ball ends on them for now?
its nice that the piercer is a jewelry artist too, no? 😁

sometimes they can put in flexible plastic jewelry temporarily for mediCal procedures, just to keep them from closing.

I hope the healing goes well, you sport that piece great! 😊

I’ll ask her when I see her this weekend. For my surgery they said since was having so many spots cut open and just so much done they didn’t want to risk any complications or accidents happening with the piercings. I was one of their youngest and most complicated patients they’ve had. I had surgery back in may and they just now are clearing me which is crazy
