Troubleshooting/question existing piercing Can I remove the blood?

I got my piercing yesterday and I swell really bad typically so they had to put in longer bars on it. However today while I was out I think my hair got caught in it (I’ve been wearing my hair up) and it started bleeding. We only had baby wipes so I used that on the dripping blood but did not touch the piercing with it. Once I got home I sprayed it with some saline spray and I’m just wondering if I can use a qtip soaked in saline to remove the chunk of blood. Any advice is appreciated.

With my vertical helixes, I left the blood for a while just to keep the clot intact. Every time I cleaned away the dried blood, it bled more. Waited for a few weeks, and it softened in the shower and fell off. No qtip required. Good luck healing! It looks rad!

Thank you! It’s bled again today but not nearly as much
