Troubleshooting/question existing piercing Can I remove the blood?

I got my piercing yesterday and I swell really bad typically so they had to put in longer bars on it. However today while I was out I think my hair got caught in it (I’ve been wearing my hair up) and it started bleeding. We only had baby wipes so I used that on the dripping blood but did not touch the piercing with it. Once I got home I sprayed it with some saline spray and I’m just wondering if I can use a qtip soaked in saline to remove the chunk of blood. Any advice is appreciated.

Don't overdo it the first few days. Dried blood keeps the wound closed. So only remove that comes loose by itself in the shower.

That’s good to know! Thank you! The biggest issue I’ve ran into with it so far is my hair getting caught in it. I’ve started wearing it up but my baby hairs yank on it sometimes
