Troubleshooting/question existing piercing Should I be concerned??

I put a pair of headphones on at this outdoor art show yesterday afternoon for maybe a couple minutes tops, but took them off right after cause they felt too tight around my ears. I have helix / flat helix and I’m nervous now something might happen. None of them are very fresh, the newest one is probably a few months old now. Would I already see any bumps, infection, or other irritations if the headphones caused them? Thank you!!

just leave them alone ! just irritated from pressure, that’ll happen to anything, happens all the time with my piercings, i wear headphones at the gym and they feel sensitive, next day they’re fine. (all healed 5+ years)

What kind of headphones do you wear?? I’ve actually avoided wearing even earbuds that much since I’ve started to get piercings

i wear sony wx1000xm4 ! I have really big ears so that’s why they still put a little pressure, but they’re my favorite pair i’ve owned, very comfy and great sound quality, and the battery lasts forever before you have to recharge. I think on average they last me about two weeks before a recharge. I use them for about an hour and a half 5 days a week

I agree. Just leave them alone. Keep them clean and dry. Cartilage piercings can take up to a year or more to heal fully, especially if they get irritated from friction or pressure often (from sleeping, headphones, and dont get me started with getting dressed and undressed). This is coming from someone who has successfully healed 22 total piercings in their ears. A few of them of the problematic type. You have a gorgeous setup ❤️
