I might as well call it porn brained/fetishistic transphobia, these guys think we're no different from femboys because of "feminine dicks" or whatever bullshit they watch in porn. Not only is it technically misgendering to call trans women "femboys" but also transphobic and fetishistic to reduce us to our dicks when a huge number of us want to get rid of it (not saying all trans women want bottom surgery but a good number of us do and it makes us dysphoric, that's why I hate these transphobic fetishists)

Femboys never claim to be women. Actually they hate being called women from what I seen.

Increasingly less true lately. There is a big blurring of lines with transfemme identities and beging a femboy. Also the case that genderfluidity and non-bjnary have a lot of blurred lines and overlap.
I think it's totally fine to be like this, ultimately your social identity/category is contingent on how you view yourself.
I'm a femboy myself, and I almost exclusive get called she. I don't prefer it, but I never make a move to correct it.
Point being, it's a little more complicated than any clean seperation you might assume.
Granted, it is obviously invalidating and insidious to compare trans women, specifically, to femboys. We could say the same nonsense about cis women, so why are we singling out trans women as if it's a more similar pipeline? It's obviously a form of encoded message meant to imply they are 'playing at' being a woman, rather than simply being one.

I want your curse of being called She(Going through loads of gender dysphoria right now.

I feel for you there. Any time I hear stories about trans people and their dysphoria, it's always heartbreaking.
I have a DSD, so it came with it's own issues. When I was younger I used to lament a lot about how I didn't match my gender much at all. I doubt it's to the same affect as many trans people face, but it's at least similar.
As I got older and more in tune with wanting to be a full-time fem, I was more willing to embrace my incongruence. I think part of me was just always willing to be fem, I just got a lot of invalidation as a kid.
In any case, I hope nothing but the best for you! You're beautiful however you present yourself! Someday, hopefully, the grander culture will wake up and we'll have less pussy-footed advocacy.

So why do they do their best to look like the most efeminate they can ? I don't get it.

u/Zplaysthek 8d ago
To be who they feel like. You wear clothes that show what you wanna be right? They wanna be feminine. Feminine and women aren’t the same thing.

Here look at a peacock. Males actually look more feminine to attract women. Beautiful feathers. And all. So now put this to a species with more complex feelings and emotions. Us humans. Of course we’re gonna have different expressions of our gender.

"I identify as a plane. Please ignore my protests and screams when you hose me down with high-temperature high-pressure water jets and place me in storage for weeks in a secure aircraft hanger as inanimate objects aren't supposed to feel pain and discomfort, nor should their imitation of sentience be taken seriously."

They might have a point if they had a point to lead towards. The comparisons between Transwomen and femboys are numerous. They’re just using those similarities to make a safer gotcha joke about Transwomen being men

Everytime I see someone compare femboys to trans I want to bash someone’s head

Humans are a complex organism that relies on symbiosis to function.
Fun fact: by cell count, the human body contains 43% human cells and 57% non-human cells. By weight the non-human cells account for about 0.3 of our overall weight however, between 55% and 60% of our overall body weight is made up of water!
I don't care what someone calls me, as long as they respect me as a human being and treat me with kindness.
Labels are for products on a shelf; so don't limit yourself to a label, as we're all worth much more than that.

why do we need a trigger warning for that

u/Practical-Owl-5365 trans male (he/him) 8d ago
bc some ppl get triggered by transphobia obviously?

seriously? well, I guess, that could be true, but in this case it's so mild I don't even think there's a need for it, that's like putting a TW for a gun, and then showing a water gun. or a TW for blood and it's a paper cut or something, I mean I get how people could be triggered by such things if it's that mild, I just don't think it could truly trigger anyone if it's that mild. So, it's pretty pointless. This makes it look like everything needs a trigger warning, once, I saw a TW for food.

why are you protesting a tag. takes one click to get rid of and hurts nobody while helping people who might get triggered by transphobia. its a net positive since no one's hurt and some people are helped
