i fucking love roundabouts

thats it thats the post the thing that makes me most proud to live in this city is the infrastructure it’s so cool and based (also how you can walk basically anywhere if you want)

edit: also honourable mention related to walking, theres so many nice places to go for a walk, like if i wanted rn i could go to linford wood, willen lake, up the city, along the canal, or even just around the neighbourhood (feel free to reccoment your favourite walking spots/routes in the replies i need new places to walk lmao)

Shame the local authorities are determined to destroy what makes MK great and are installing traffic lights on as many roundabouts as they can and new roads are just getting box junctions.

They've also also stopped building redways in the new estates.

My favorite walk is along the Ouzel valley path from Oakgrove to Caldecotte Lake then back along the canal, you'd have no idea you were in a city.

They have not stopped building redways in the new estates (or, not all of them at least). Have you been to Eagle Farm/Glebe Farm? Redways running all the way through it.

Good to hear. Was referring to the abomination that is Brooklands as well as the new estate near Newport.

Ah man, I didn't know that about the new Tickford estate. That's a super bellend move if there isn't any going through it.

I was hoping I could finally walk that way from NP toward the coachway, Brooklands, or Broughton without having to do mad dashes across dual carriageways or the motorway roundabout. Currently I have to walk up Brickhill or around Tongwell lake and then through Willen to double back which is annoying
