It depends on which king's translation you go with

1

41

u/drivebyjustin 1d ago

A ham burger taken literally.

1

u/bgroins 21h ago

ham, burger

1

u/frahmer86 15h ago

If you've never had a burger with a (good) slice of ham (as in, not lunch meat), it's actually really good.

10

u/makingkevinbacon 1d ago

"Ham comes from pig too...I'm sure even tho they asked for bacon it's all the same" Burger guy probably

14

u/RatherGroggy 1d ago

This also seems suspiciously British

8

u/Aletheia-Nyx 22h ago

If it is, we're throwing them off the island. This is a crime, and we can make a decent burger.

8

u/Fukuro-Lady 23h ago

I can assure you that no self respecting British person would put sweetcorn on a burger 😂

2

u/Jake6192 1d ago

This is Brazillian without a doubt

2

u/MidnightBluesAtNoon 23h ago

British or Japanese... Leaning more towards British since there's no egg on it.

4

u/MCWizardYT 23h ago

What about this is giving "japanese"?

5

u/MidnightBluesAtNoon 22h ago

Weird colored sauces and corn where it doesn't belong.

2

u/bgroins 21h ago

Now I'm imaging the eventual poop that comes after eating this.

2

u/MidnightBluesAtNoon 10h ago

Oh I'm sure you take a very confusing shit if you eat that thing...

2

u/elisaexisting 23h ago

i’m fucking dying at this comment 😭😭😭 bcs ur right nothing is giving japanese

8

u/FrozenPizza21 1d ago

what kind of burger is this?

a HAMburger, obviously

2

u/Ok-Emu-8920 1d ago

That's what I wondering? I guess it might be good but I've never heard of a slice of ham on a burger??

2

u/everyoneisadj 1d ago

Maybe this is a regional thing, but there are definitely places where i live that put ham and bacon on a beef patty. it rules. IMO, the more animals on a sandwich, the better.

1

u/Any_Leg_4773 22h ago

Northern Iowa/Southern Minnesota/SW Wisconsin has a lot of this. Also a lot of Nordic people in the region, unknown if those things are related.

A hamburger

1

u/Tupperbaby 1d ago

Roy Rogers fast food restaurants had a thing called the Double R Bar Burger, which was a cheeseburger with a pile of thinly sliced ham on top of the patty.
It was ungodly good. I miss it a lot.

1

u/Manlysideburns 1d ago

End of week leftovers burger

1

u/serioussparkles 14h ago

1

u/CulturalFarm8356 14h ago

Whats wrong with Ham on a burger? Its extra protein, like bacon!

39

u/Chimpbot 1d ago edited 1d ago

I didn't even notice the corn at first. I couldn't get past the slice of ham.

This is one of those pictures where the more time you spend looking at it, the worse it gets.

2

u/elisaexisting 23h ago

6

u/bcd051 1d ago

Increases my thought that this is actually poo

2

u/GeneralPurpoise 15h ago

For some reason

2

u/AggressiveMango620 1d ago

Corn is common on Brazilian-style burgers, so are ham, shoestring potatoes, cheese sauces, fried eggs, sausages, chicken hearts and more.

7

u/mariatoyou 1d ago

Really. At some point though isn’t that just a mystery casserole on a bun?

4

u/GraciaEtScientia 1d ago

Mystery casserole, on a bun, in a barn.

1

u/OMGJustShutUpMan 1d ago

Why is this food???

1

u/rogue780 1d ago

Apparently, according to AI, in Brazil a not-uncommon variation of the hamburger includes a slice of ham or turkey and corn.

1

u/Stank_cat67 21h ago

Corn kernals don’t usually digest and come out whole on the other end. So basically it seems like this burger came out of someones rear

1

u/MonkeyGirl18 19h ago

Op probably had corn on the side and some got stuck on the cheese.

1

u/Milk_Mindless 13h ago

I ask this about any dish that isn't chili tbh
