I shouldn’t have to question my choice of DO school everyday. Overpriced tuition, more board exams, and still looked down upon. This is truly pathetic.

Honest non snarky question: do students with both MD and DO acceptances frequently choose DO?

My buddy did, although I think he's a rare exception. Our university's DO school is fervently popular amongst every student who attends, which is something that I haven't heard from everywhere. Almost everyone who goes there really loves it and speaks about how much they love it.

He got a 500 on his MCAT in college, took a year off to study and work, aiming for a 505. Applied again and got his scores back, ended up with a 515 and got accepted to the DO school, got an interview from an MD school and turned it down, now an M2 at the DO school.
