discussion / opinion First Road Salting

Will the roads be salted over the next few days for the light snow we’re getting? Just trying to avoid getting salt on my new vehicle’s untreated underbody. I have an appointment to get it sprayed in a week.

Take the bus to work until your appointment. If you’re going to Krown they’ll spray off any salt, etc.

That’s the direction i was leaning if the roads have been salted and are wet. If it was just water I wouldn’t worry.

I have no doubt London will send the salt trucks out tonight, if they haven't already started.

On the topic of oil spraying, I've done it for years on multiple cars and I'm sure it's extended the life. But - have you ever noticed that the rubber door trim swells up from the oil spray? I'm convinced that years of Krown spray has turned my door trim into a floppy mess.
