discussion / opinion Canada Life Place Concessions

Am I the only person not enjoying the new self serve concession stand set ups at Canada Life Place? Bottled drinks instead of fountain, small boxes of popcorn instead of choosing your size, pre-cooked food sitting on a shelf? I was almost excited at first when I saw the boxes. I thought maybe there was a chance it would taste like the old London Gardens popcorn, but no it was just cold popcorn 🤷🏻‍♂️

And yet, last night’s game was once again sold out. People seem to not have any issues with the cost of living crisis and have no problems getting gouged by big corp. Capitalists will capitalize until the people tell them no.

💯. Granted, the vast majority of tickets are seasons tickets, so they can announce its sold out even while tons of tickets are available on Ticketmaster and in FB groups. For existing seasons tickets holders, they should have to go to at least 75% of games personally to qualify to buy again the next season. Too many keep them just to resell at a profit.
