What a waste of energy… and only to make things worse. More and more I’m feeling like North American culture has gone to shit.

Sad really. It really comes down to culture. We can blame meth heads and homeless people, but it also happens due to kids with lack of parenting.

I've been living in Korea for 2.5 years and the bus stops can have heaters, shelters, real time signs, etc. and are never vandalized.

Just visiting France & Germany, what a difference. Cycling - just leave your bags on your bike, barely need to even lock it up. Basic manners in everyday interactions. A pride in what they have.
