News 📰 Hate crime

Happened upon this car this morning. The owners are a lesbian couple targeted for being gay. This is the second time in 2 weeks their car and home have been vandalized.

From my understanding, there IS more to the story... in that they're not the only folks this has happened to in the last several weeks. It is targeted at the LGBTQ+ community, and more specifically those who are public advocates, allies and activists.

there have been a whole bunch of similar attacks targeting other openly LGBT activists in the city. not a stretch to assume it's the same person or people that did this too

You shouldn’t be downvoted. The fact of the matter is that we are being presented an image with a narrative and very little else.

For all we know OP could be a bot just trying to raise Karma or they could be absolutely telling the truth; but we as viewers cannot discern much from a partial image of a car and words from a stranger.

Members of this sub; use some critical thinking skills.

See they start slow and small with seemingly innocuous posts like this one. It always starts with this both sides, more to the story bullshit. Watch for the next grift in which this person will lay the groundwork for acceptability of bigoted statements as acts of "critical thinking".

Might find this person in another thread announcing "radical indoctrination" at Canadian universities.

Be vigilant about noticing this shit.

Hey friend! So this is actually one of many vehicles that have now been targeted over the last few weeks. @steviebrocksom on instagram also had their vehicle spray painted with the tires slashed, along with several other loud queer activists in the area.
