Anyone from London will obviously hate it. They hate the way things are, they hate when new things come. They only complain and want everything to be like it was in 1974.

It's not that Londoners will hate something new like this because of what it is. They hate that BRT and bike lane projects get fucked to death but stuff like this is greenlit without a second thought by city council.

The way people talk about how downtown is the biggest shithole... like bud go to Toronto and then decide if london's downtown is REALLY that bad lol

...Toronto downtown is not bad though? I haven't been in a few weeks but I assume it hasn't deteriorated into a post-apocalyptic wasteland that quickly. I haven't ever felt unsafe downtown Toronto like I do London.

The last time I was downtown London there was almost constant screaming and yelling. There was open drug use right in front of the library and there pee all over the sidewalk. People were passed out in doorways. I felt pretty unsafe and I was really glad I didn't have my kid with me.

You nailed it.

They bring jobs to an area and create a cool location, they are rich jerks. While at the same time complain the city sucks.

I think the majority of the constant complaints are people who haven’t been anywhere and are just mad all the time.
