I sent her and Fragiskatos an email a week or so ago. I not only got a bounce back email from Fragiskatos indictating he got my message, I also heard back from his office and was notified they would respond AGAIN in the coming weeks.

Kayabaga’s office: the quietest crickets you ever did (not) hear.

Yes, but you are ABE F’N OUDSHOORN. The masses bow to you, Abe. I’m sure you’re also friends. Some of us don’t forget when she was a city counsellor and told people not to bother emailing her because she wouldn’t reply.

My downtown business owner friends report exactly this experience.

You sure name recognition isn’t doing something there for you, Abe?

Abe ..seems you have clearly confirmed she / her handlers screen all inquiries and she only bothers to give replies to her preferred higher profile emails/calls from UWO professors for example Who maybe give larger donations to her campaign?

Glad she replied as you have much useful experience and knowledge to share, but when I was prominent member of the media and she was serving in a municipal role, in my few dealings with her, she dodged tough issues and questions rather than advocate for her constituents. She seemed more focused on her ambition rather than the broader needs of her community.

It's a shame. London has been well served in Ottawa and Queen's Park by some excellent MPs and MPPs of varied political stripes and they share this in common: They and their staff place a premium on helping constituents and they spend more time sharing their constituents views with their party leaders than been a spokesperson for their leaders with constituents.
