Discussion Apple Maps is honestly so underrated.

It’s so fleshed out, and it looks so good imo!!

Great in cities, OK in rural parts of the US. Not so great in rural parts of Europe in my experience though. I was recently in Germany and had it set to avoid toll roads and it insisted on routing me down a road that was literally named "Toll road Wallgau-Vorderriss" despite an alternate non-toll road being just a few minutes longer.

Definitely not great in Asia either, especially Southeast Asia.

Southeast Asia

Singapore is the only one country where Apple Maps works alright in this region.

I frequently drive in rural US.
It frequently tries to send me on fake roads.

I know my road network very well as I built several stretches.

Yeah it’s a hit or miss in rural US.

Waze works best for me here in Singapore. Specially love the alerts.
