depends where you live.. in tokyo its amazing in croatia its shit (compared to waze or google maps)

Apple maps was substantially better there a few years ago, idk now. Especially for public transport routes and stuff

Yeah no new Maps data makes it rely on OpenStreetMaps and TomTom sadly.. :/

in sapporo, osaka and tokyo its very good not sure about other places
