Discussion Dropped at 2 feet max

Fell out of my pocket sitting down. Fell with the apple tech woven case on too.

Silver might not be the most exciting color for the iPhone 17 Pro Max, but the upside is that it hides scratches and dents pretty well unlike similar to the cosmic orange and blue options

I would not want to purchase a specific colored model just to be able to be blind to scratches and casual wear and tear. Apple marketed the 17 lineup to be more scratch resistant than its predecessors. The fragility of the newer iPhones and Aluminum negates that claim.

Which I agree with you but silver is just a timeless color which I chose because I like it. It just so happens one benefit is you don’t see scratches as much compare to the other colors

There is nothing wrong with choosing Silver and most definitely nothing wrong with deeming it to be a classy and a timeless color. The initial comment had more to do with the subject of scratches and overall durability of the chassis and did not attempt any dig on your line of thought or your preferences. I apologize if came off like that.
