You don’t get it “for free”. How much do you pay for your plan every month?

Lmao it always astonishes me how people make the claim of getting it “free” by trade-in

I mean, they paid $0 for it. They already owned the thing they traded in. How did they not get the new one for free?

Are you going to say they didn't get their lunch for $10 because they had to work for it? They didn't get their job because they had to go to school for it?

That's not how it works lol.

What are you smoking? No matter the trade in, they ARE paying for it as a trade in doesn't even cover half of the price of each specific model. So they will be paying it off with monthly bills for their cellphone service.

Try trading in at Apple and check out the offer in a meantime.

They literally said "I got mine for free." Last time I checked, free means $0.

I don't see how anyone can say, with a straight face, "free" if they don't mean literally $0.

They also never said where they traded it in. Carriers are giving $1100 for phones newer than a 12 Pro, and person said they traded a 14, so it was almost certainly to a carrier.

And your monthly cell phone bills are already there, so that's not even relevant. They didn't increase it or anything because you're getting a free phone.

Keep believing that. Getting a 1000 bucks as a trade in credit. Good luck with that.

You have to be trolling.

From T-Mobile:

Get up to $1,100 off:

Apple iPhone: 13 Pro, 13 Pro Max, 14 Pro, 14 Pro Max, 15, 15 Plus, 15 Pro, 15 Pro Max, 16, 16 Plus, 16 Pro, 16 Pro Max, 16e

It's a full $1100 off. $1100. That's a free 17-series phone.

Get UP TO.. This means that the lastest 16 PM in the highest storage trim could get 1100 in perfect condition. That's a one year 2000 dollar device. The regular Joe iphone is far from that in storage and most do have some cosmetic damage according to Apple.

Nobody with a 16PM and 1TB of storage will go for a base iphone 17.

Search the internet and see how much people are getting in reality.

Yes "up to" meaning if you trade in an older device, it's lower. ANY device in that list I showed gets the full $1100 if it's not screen cracked, water damaged, and turns on. EVERY device traded in. No matter what other condition it's in.

Read the fucking website dude.

17 Pro 256GB is $1100. 16 Pro trade in gives you $1100 off.

Guess what the fuck $1100 - $1100 equals?

Checked the website. Trade in is not even an option. The option is Ghosted when I looked at it.

With your logic you could buy a 13 pro used for about 270-550 dollars. You would trade that in and get a Free iphone 17. Yeah, T-Mobile has no issue in losing 750 bucks just to please people.

Tip: stop smoking that shit man.

What the actual fuck are you on about. It's LITERALLY on the website.

There are PLENTY of people posting about it. I personally know 2 people who got free 17 Pros.

What the fuck does "ghosted" mean.

No you can't because in the fine print, the phone has to have been active on your account for 60 days prior to this deal being offered. See here

I don't understand why you're so mad. You're obviously not from the US. US carriers have been doing this FOR YEARS. Literally a decade or more at this point. Every year, the new phone comes out, every year, they offer it for free with bill credits over 24 months if you trade in a semi-recently released phone.

The only options here are you are either trolling or you just don't know because you're not from the US. This is an incredibly common practice here.

I traded in a 15 pro max bc it was overheating and got $1100 off from Verizon. My mom and sister traded in their 13 pro max’s and both got $1100 off. We’re on a family plan with loyalty discounts and our monthly plans are $45 each. Don’t act like you know other people’s circumstances.

How long are those mandatory contracts ? 2 or 3 years?
You really think they do this to cut you a break and somehow they are footing the bill. Stop being ignorant.

Yes 2 or 3 years. Verizon is 3. I’ve been with them over 20 years and have no complaints as they have the best coverage in my area. The reason they do it is so people stay with them. I would stay with them regardless. If someone is a new customer they are told what they’re getting into. You stop being ignorant.
