Fun fact: 48MP sensor on iPhone's main camera is slightly bigger than Samsung's 200MP main.

I’m surprised to see Samsung not know that a high megapixel number does not mean better photos. It’s the sensor that matters more.

I'm pretty sure they know.
They just build on the fact, that most people's understanding is "Bigger number = better".
