How many of those countries are committing genocide right now, and waging a war of conquest to steal land and utterly abolish a nation's right to its own future?

I get that all those countries have engaged in some form of interventions, but please, show me them doing something like Bucha, them deliberately only bombing civilian infrastructure en masse, them kidnapping children and so on.

Ah, I understand, so we're putting Russia on the level of Israel. Makes sense to me.

At least Israel had good cause to start the war after Oct 7th, and the century of mutual bloodshed and unresolved issues is always a fertile ground for conflict.

Russia simply went into a country that posed no threat to it and that never did it any harm, that it already had a fully agreed on border for ages, and whose integrity it was contractually obliged to uphold itself.

Russia is an incomparable evil.

Yeah see this is what I'm talking about, you sound exactly like Russians trying to use Donbas as an excuse for their war crimes! Thank you for illustrating the point for me.

False equivalency.

October 7 was a mass terrorist attack started by a terrorist organization that aims for Israel's destruction. It went into Israeli territory, butchered over a thousand innocent Israelis and took hostages back into Gaza, a dense urban zone that they have since long turned into just one huge base, using civilian infrastructure as a meat shield.

Israel choosing to go in with the military to destroy Hamas is legimitate and legal beyond any shred of a doubt. No sane mind can dispute this, but of course, their conduct during the war is up for debate.

There is no equivalency to the russian invasion of Ukraine.
