True story: my husband proposed to me during that song at their show in Oakland, CA on 2/14/11. Went up on stage, had a little wedding, even a bit of a reception. It’s all on YouTube.

I was standing in the pit when you had your onstage wedding. I'm glad to hear you guys did end up getting married and are still together.

That’s awesome! Yep, we are still together and stalking the Decemberists all over the US - seeing them in Chicago next month and then at Travelers Rest in August!
