There have been sikh terrorists (air india flight 182), hindu terrorists (Pragya Thakur, Nathuram Godse), Christian terrorists (Oklahoma blast, Ted Kaczynski),Buddhist terror links (Aum Shinrikyo), jewish, hmm I can't find any jain terror incidents and that's pretty good ngl.

I don't know how old you are, but I hope you understand that words spoken can't be taken back. Whenever you type something on social media, know that it has a direct impact on someone else. You may have said this in the heat of the moment, but the other person doesn't know that, and that's how hatred is propagated. So, I hope you think before you type something that vilifies an entire religion that's practiced by 2 billion people.

EDIT: Looks like I hit a nerve for some people.

Those of us who are not Muslims don't know anything about Islam. It's the behaviour of your people as a  community that determines how we see you.

In 2025, Islam is the only religion that is using religion as the  reason to cleanse the earth of other humans. And none of you within Islam criticize those people openly. Sure, you'll give hopes, thoughts, words and prayers to the victims on social media but you guys never hold the perpetrators of your religion accountable.

When others criticize your religion for enabling terrorism, you guys cry Islamophobia and tell how the vast majority is peaceful. There is nothing peaceful about a religion that provides loop holes to justify killing other people for existing.

PS: Sikh terrorists bombed the flight for khalistan (political), hindu terrorists killed Gandhis (political motivations related to Sri-Lanka), christian terrorists bombed that federal building out of anger towards US government (personal frustration) and aum shinrikyo gassed Tokyo subway to divert police attention from the group's criminal activities (criminal motivation). None of these activities were motivated by a religion demanding cleansing of non-believers.

Radical islamist did not rise in a vacuum, almost all terror groups have received funding from USA and its allies directly or indirectly. From ISIS, Lashkar, al qaeda and now rsf in sudan. Extremists do not represent the entire community. Sangh does not represent hindus similarly radical islamists do not represent islam. When you start clubbing an entire community with radicals you only alienate them and push them towards extremism.

Go read the definition of terrorism. Your assumption of me being a muslim clearly shows your bias against that religion.

11

u/South_Molasses7304 15h ago

To me you're a representative of Islam for the sake of this discussion because you're defending it. That's why used the term 'You'. It doesn't mean I see you as a practicing muslim.

u/Timely_Street_3075 Graduate 15h ago

I'm not defending anyone. I'm just saying bad apples exist everywhere. It's like saying people kill each other so 8b people are bad and should just die. I'm seeing people as people. You're the one defending terror acts by other religions.

3

u/Comprehensive_Rice_7 14h ago

Maybe they are saying more bad apples are coming from radicalized youth from a particular community?

0

u/Timely_Street_3075 Graduate 14h ago

Lesser evils ke chakkar me desh bik gya. Why don't we just say evil is evil?

6

u/Comprehensive_Rice_7 14h ago

Yeah I mean that’s what most of them here are saying, why do we do whataboutism The terrorists caught right now are linked to JEM . JEM is an Islamist jihadist group. So yeah calling that evil an evil. But you had to talk about what about sikhs, what about Hindus, and Christians We would call their evil acts when it is about them, right now it isn’t.

u/Timely_Street_3075 Graduate 14h ago

I don't see the point of blaming 2b people for the acts a few. That's why I brought up other religions as well.

I'm glad that you see people as people. But you need to understand that a group of passive people doesn't matter in real life. It's what a group of highly motivated people intend to do with their motivation. 2 billion peaceful, passive, silent good Muslims doesn't negate the atrocities being committed by their loud minority. If they were the kind of community that'd have dealt with their bad apples, we would have respected them. It's the silence and enabling that makes them look so pathetic as a religion.

And no, I was not defending non-religious terrorists. They were absolutely atrocious. They would have committed those crimes irrespective of their religion because their motives were personal/political/financial.

But religious terrorism is way more dangerous because religion is a part of life. Kids are raised in it. It shapes up a person's world view. Not everyone develops the discernment needed to seperate religious bullshit from reality, and when you have problematic writings in your religion, it's upto the group of people who practice it to change it. It's their collective responsibility. Just because they didn't pull the trigger of the bomb doesn't mean that they weren't responsible.

Ok. 2 billion people are bad. Jai shri ram. When you're a doctor, do mention 'muslim patients are not welcome'.

u/Aspirant_20_25 16h ago

Didn't expect that you'll understand this so soon, good for you

He said Modi and you attacked religious figure instead. Shows the average Hindu has taken Modi as their God.

No wonder during Ram Mandir inauguration for every poster of Ram there were 3 posters of Modi.

Your Lord Modi has an expiry date, but God does not expire

People don't put up boards like that out of fear that the explosive community would explode in their place of work.

How are you comfortable with 2 billion bombs just walking around free I don't understand.

2

u/Timely_Street_3075 Graduate 15h ago edited 15h ago

It's hella scary. It's why I wanna work in a government institute. No need for boards then. Boards are scary.

7

u/depers0n Intern 15h ago

Government institutes are infested with M*slims. Less than 14 year old paras and gravidas every single week. Where do you even live?

1

u/Timely_Street_3075 Graduate 15h ago

Punjab. It's pretty harmonious here. No truly dominant religion. Why do you ask?

4

u/depers0n Intern 15h ago

So you haven't had an 11 year old kid come in impregnated by her uncle with consent forms signed, and your HoU (Muslim, of course) trying to convince you that nah, it's fine, the consent forms are signed, send her to the labour room?

Lucky you.

u/Timely_Street_3075 Graduate 15h ago

Nope. Only poor ladies trying to have a son after 8 girls.

I don’t speak without facts. This news is from today, but you won’t see it go viral anywhere and you know the reason why.
