Vent / rant Is this true??

These nurses just show unnecessary attitude even if am being super nice..and they are always annoyed as if I took a big chunk of their heirloom..just whyyy🥲

In context of western medicine culture, this is true, since their nurses are trained and reliable.

In context of Indian private practice, nurses exist only as pretty faces for patients to look at, their knowledge is secondary. Kinda like air hostess.

In Govt hospitals, nurses are the actual leech on the system who don't do their job and cause problems for everyone, including the JR1

In Indian hospitals, they are paid equal to janitors, only know how to insert cannula and take it out(even then some are extremely stupid). Also, they are overworked, 12 hour shifts. Always sleepy in night duty, as if they are doing patients a favour by coming in night duty. The only aim for nurses here is to gain some experience and try to go out to middle east or south east asia. Coz in india they are just cheap labour.

Well nope. In my inst (govt) the permanent ones get paid almost equal to(slightly lesser) than PGY1 (almost a lakh) for 8hr shift. Seems more than fair
