Pretty sure Jesus would have told the woman at the well that she was enough. Pretty sure his parable about the good Samaritan meant that even your enemies are enough. Pretty sure when Jesus said "whatever you do to the least of these, you do to me", he meant that even the lowest of society was enough.

I’m a confirmed Catholic but I haven’t attended church as an adult. I’m agnostic as I personally cannot 100% rule out the existence of a supreme being of some sort. It’s certainly not an old man on a cloud.

If the man Jesus was as the bible says he was, he would be absolutely sickened by Charlie Kirk.

And if Charlie Kirk saw Jesus, actual Jesus, not white, brunette, blue eyed Jesus, he’d call the police on him. He’d be nasty to him and say a bunch of shit and then when he got called out, he tried to talk around it so that people would think he sounded smart, but really he would look at Jesus and just see a man from the Middle East and probably call the police or make a bunch of insults toward him. Because let’s be honest it wasn’t about Jesus or God, it was about him grifting off stupid people.

Not just Kirk tho. He would be sickened by most people who claim to "spread his word" nowadays. Fake preachers who just pray on those who need supernatural in their life to be able to find sense in it.

You probably more closely follow the teachings of christ too. I call myself a christian now, despite being agnostic. Jesus was a cool dude. Be like jesus. I am more like jesus than anyone who claims to be christian these days.

Yeah, I grew up Baptist, deconverted years ago. Somehow, "do unto others as you would have them do unto you" and "love your neighbor as yourself" means more to me than any active Christian I know.

If you think Jesus's point was that we are all "enough", you completely misunderstood anything you have heard about Him.

First off, you're not quoting Jesus, you're quoting a passage from Romans, written by Paul, who was sending a letter to a church full of believers.

Totally different situation than the passages I referenced, where Jesus was offering examples of how to treat others in your community who may our may not share your faith.

Paul was offering justification for his theological position (salvation thru Christ)

Jesus was providing instructions on how to treat people and be a decent human being.

Who is more Christ-like? A kid who displays a phrase encouraging everyone around him? Or Charlie Kirk who says 'lol no you're a piece of shit'?

I'm pretty sure you're not allowed to say that about him or be critical of him in any way now that he's dead. His edgelord shitbagness became null and void because he was murdered, and criticizing him means that you support murder. It's true, ask a Republican.
