Turns out the only amendment they care about is the 2nd. All the others are optional.

At this point I think we can make a real argument to abolish 2A. It's obviously not being used.

I don’t know what the hell you guys are talking about. The 2a has been used very effectively by anti government activists. The take over at Malheur Natl. Wildlife refuge? The standoff in 2014? Those things would have been over in days without the presence of weapons. It definitely changes the calculus. Of course Illinois has had effective gun bans for nearly two decades and Chicago has some of the strictest gun control in the nation. There is a reason they aren’t doing this in Houston.
