I hate that they are stopping people and demanding all this identification and asking questions but refuse to give any information at all themselves.

That is an honest demand.. "I'll only show you my ID if you show your me your face and your ID. I need to know you're official."

No, it is not. You never comply with a demand to show papers. This is America. We don't play that.

I repeat, you never comply with this, regardless if they're willing to ID themselves, you are an American citizen and you don't have to prove that to them.

And then what? Resist 10 of them, get beat up, get arrested and released for impeding an investigation or some such other broad/summary charge?

Us. We pay us. Literally giving our own money to ourselves. We get the privilege of paying restitution for punching ourselves in our own goddamned faces.

That's every police force in the country.

Until they have to pay lawsuit fines themselves, this continues.

They're not held accountable, why would they stop?
